Yep, although I feel pretty self-conscious taking them. Getting a case with a built in Pop-Socket helps b/c I had troulbe holding the phone in one hand. But it's pretty annoying when my granddaughter grabs my phone out of my hand and snaps a 'perfect' group selfie w/o any effort.
Are you serious!!! How cool! People look at me like I'm nuts when I say I take pictures of gravestones!
You guys are not alone. I have photos of gravestones. In fact, I take photos of my parents' gravestone twice a year, once in May, the other time in December. I also took many photos of gravestones when I was in to genealogy quite heavily. Film camera with black and white film!
Awesome! I take photos of family too if I'm up that way but mostly I photograph stones that catch my eye. I found a scrapbook that my grandma made after a trip in 1940 and she and my grandfather had taken photos of gravestones including Paul Revere and other famous people. It was neat to see a shared hobby between us.
I'm not sure she's even used a good old rotary phone ... yeah, dating myself, lol!!! I've taken photos of family gravestones, but that's neat to take photos of "catch your eye" gravestones.
A picture says 1,000 words right? Here's my mom and me on her visit here: Me too! My sister died when I was almost 2, so we have lots of photos of me and the other kids by her stone. I had never seen a car gravestone before!!
Nah, we had a rotary phone at the barn. And I couldn't think of the name! So yep! You'd totally own her on the rotary phone!
We have some unusual gravestones at the 2 main cemeteries in town. I should probably do a photo shoot and some layouts about them. One of them is huge and is a chair and over a century old.
strangers?? *L* seriously right now since I work at the photo studio 99% of my photos are of strangers.. but when I take out my own camera.. it is mostly of my dog..lately.. or selfies.. or one of the kids
Love the race car gravestone. Sent a screen shot of it to my xDH ... he raced stock cars and that would be perfect for him. Unfortunately he’s a vet and the vet cemeteries have specified headstones.
