Hello again everyone, I am delighted to be able to host a challenge this month. I have created a layout for you to use as your inspiration. I used Just Jaimee's April 2021 [Poppy] StoryTeller kit. Be inspired by my layout and create your very own masterpiece. You could decide to create a layout with 1 rectangular photo and a series of four smaller ones. You could be Inspired by the artsy splatters and the stamped title. You might like to use a similar colour scheme. I would love to see just how creative you can be. Please make mention of what you chose to be inspired by. If you have a question - please tag me @Eyeore Please remember the monthly challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the August Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
I was inspired by the focus on one large photo and then smaller ones below. Since I scrap in 8 1/2 x 11 format, that number of smaller photos became 2.
As you can see I was inspired by many things on your wonderful page! It turned out to be almost a scraplift instead of just inspiration!
I was inspired by the art theme/painting party ... thanks for pushing me to finally get this fun event scrapped
Your page is beautiful!! And I cannot tell a lie, it's all about perspective, right? When I saw the red splatters and because the subject of my page had just happened, unfortunately, my first thought was blood. BUT as my page progressed, I was able to take inspiration from your colourful page! Thanks for the inspiration!
The inspiration was the artwork as I have shared on my page the artwork of one of my granddaughters...
