Congratulations @bjthomas ($10), @FL-Karen ($5) and @G.J. ($3)!! Hi again! Hopefully you all have had a chance to look over my tutorial here. Now that you've read over how I've been putting together my 2007 DYD album... I would love for you to join me with DYD-ing a past year of your own! However you would like to do your pages is totally up to you (size, style, whatever!)... the important thing here is just getting those past year's stories and photos scrapped! When you finished pages, please post them below. For fun, I would love for you to include the year you've chosen in your post. I can't wait to see what you create! Challenge prizes: There will be one $10 first place, one $5 second place, and one random $3. Challenge rules: Pick a past year's holiday season to document. Make pages! (It's that easy!) The deadline to upload your page to have a chance at winning the prizes is the end of Summer School Week 4, Sunday August 1, 2021 , 11:59pm EDT [New York time zone] Normal challenge rules also apply: Your page must be a new page for this challenge. Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page must be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then posted in this thread so I can track entries and comment on your page.
Thank you for the push to get me FINALLY scrapping about our special "elf" who arrived back in 2013 - I've been wanting to create an album for all his adventures for the longest time, and just kept putting it off. These first 12 (11 days) pages came together SO quickly after finding a fun 6x8 template set and a fun kit to help highlight the different days. I've shrunk the first 12 pages (by 50%) and put them on a 12x12 LO for submission for this challenge. Off to work on the next 15-ish pages of the album
I accepted the challenge (LOL) to Document my Decembers..... but in a bit different way. I chose to document the trees through the years, using many stock photos. From a house burn to a few EHD/Back Up crashes I ended up with no photos some years awhile others was such poor quality since I had found them posted on FB, when the downsized the images. I was able to get a couple of photos from family. It is a work in progress for me. Here are three years, thus far.
I didn't realize that I hadn't scrapped any of my 2010 Christmas! I don't have enough photos to do every day, but I'm hoping to finish them all. I am using templates from Fiddle-Dee-Dee's December Details Album 1 and mostly kits from the Document Your December collections, Oh What Fun, and several Christmas kits from Kirsten Aagard. Ta da! I finished all of my December 2010 photos!
Tracie dear, I especially thank for the idea to scrap about my home decorations, I really loved my layout and I think that I'm gonna start to create an album about it. Here's my take on the challenge, full credits in gallery. Have a wonderful August my dear, and once again, thanks for the inspiration and idea.
Thank you all for playing along and getting those holiday memories scrapped!! The Winners are as follows: @bjthomas $10 @FL-Karen $5 @G.J. $3 I will PM you all shortly! (this week has been a bit crazy... will be back to comment on your pages soon too!)
