August Random Challenge

Hello and welcome to this month's random challenge! I am so excited to be a host this month and hope you’ll all enjoy scrapping along with me.

August is the eighth month of the year, so since I’m a numbers gal, I decided to focus on the number eight.

Your challenge this month is to use exactly eight of something on your page and tell me what eight you chose in your gallery credits. Love lots of photos? Use eight photos on your page! Love combining kits? Use products from eight different designers on your page! Love clean and simple? Use eight elements total! The possibilities are endless! You can use anything else that you would like on your layout; just be sure to use exactly eight (no more, no less) of at least one thing.

Here is a new page I made for this challenge. I chose to use exactly eight solid papers - white, pink, yellow, orange, navy, magenta, green and black.

Reminder: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the August Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread.

The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month:

2 challenges = 10% off
4 challenges = 20% off
6 challenges = 30% off

If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
