The Munsters is the first one that came to mind. All of us are a bit quirky but lots of love and goodness underneath. Although we don't have a grandpa or niece living with us.

No TV family comes to mind but I did relate to a comic strip back in the 80's. Loved "Cathy" and the only thing missing back then was the dog. But I've got one now ;)

Totally Rosanne. My mom always hated that show and I always told her that our family was like that. She always shot dagger at me! ROTF SHE thought we were The Cleavers. Oh, no, we weren't.

Hmmm ... Father Knows Best pops into my mind for my "growing up" family, Roseanne for my "adult" family ... I swear my life is like a soap opera at times. :)

I'm not sure there is a TV family out there that is quite weird enough to be my family. ha ha! We always did say that the dad in The Christmas Story (you'll shoot your eye out) was exactly like our Dad when he was trying to fix things himself instead of hiring someone else... Lots of colorful language! :giggle Remember the scene where that dad goes into the basement to fix the furnace. Ha ha ha! That was my Dad!

I guess I'd also say that we had touches of being like the family from Little House on the Prairie too. We had animals and horses and ran a little wild outside all of the time.

today i'm feeling like we're channeling The Simpsons a bit - both kids are really a mix of Bart and Lisa, we don't have a Maggie, or Patty and Selma and DH isn't always at Moe's fortunately but DS is learning the clarinet this year and my noisecancelling headphones mysteriously got broken this week and now i'm feeling a bit like Marge wanting to be supportive but also a lot like Homer thinking
