When I say chips and dip, I mean any kind of chip with any kind of dip. Tortilla and salsa? Yes. Potato and ranch? Yes. Potato and French onion? Yes. Pretzels and cheese? Yes. Yes to all of it!

Yes! In fact, Taco Bell had just opened its first branch in Malaysia this month. Other Mexican food chains that we have here is Nando's, but I'm not aware whether they have tacos or not on their menu. I've always ordered their rice meals. And come to think of it, there may be some small food trucks selling tacos here, although I personally haven't been to one.

We have some similar varieties like shawarma, chapatti wraps, paratha, kebab, and crunchy savoury wraps made from plain flour. I'd love to try out Taco Bell one day. Perhaps when the covid infections have died down a bit here. We're currently having a third wave (or fourth, I lost count).

    1. Sweet Snacks or Salty Snacks? Salty. When it comes to snacks, I'm like a deer at a salt lick!

    2. Crunchy Snacks or Soft Snacks? Crunchy. Unless we're talking about hummus and pita, which is more soft than crunchy, I guess.

    3. Healthy Snacks or Unhealthy Snacks? Unhealthy. Unless we're talking about hummus and pita, which is reasonably healthy (what with the protein and the B-vitamins and so on), I guess.

    4. Chocolate Snacks or Non-Chocolate Snacks? Non-chocolate. I love chocolate, but that's for pudding or dessert, not for a snack.

    5. Homemade Snacks or Storebought Snacks? Storebought! If I make it at home, it's no longer a snack, it's what's for dinner (or at least, what's for dessert!).

@Angela Toucan I'm seriously intrigued by these bean buns. I don't have a bun tray! What else do you cook in it? Can I justify owning one?

Oh bummer! Do you miss it?

My favorite have been cheddar and sour cream lately. I've never been a salt and vinegar fan, but I love sour cream and onion too!

Oh! Do you have a favorite brand? I keep buying them and they are not good. So, I've taken to dipping pretzels in peanut butter at home.

    Love it!

I've had shawarma, and kebab's. I'm going to check out chapatti and paratha! I'm intrigued by the crunchy savoury wraps. I make tortillas (soft) that are flour, salt and lard/shortening. Yours sound very interesting!

    This is true.

    I love chocolate covered pretzels!

my recipe changes depending on what I have in the house.
Basically you need equal volumes of cooked beans (and or lentils) and vegetables all chopped finely, your choices of spices and/or herbs, and enough egg (or egg subsitute) to bind it all together. Sometimes I add cheese too. Then bake in a moderate oven until the go golden (usually 30-50mins depending on size). Leave to cool before removing from the tray.

I can actually tolerate a small amount of that, Courtney! It's not too bad, but it's not chocolate. :( Hubby baked some chocolate chip cookies the other night and I did take one bite. I miss chocolate like crazy!!

    1. Sweet Snacks or Salty Snacks? Salty
    2. Crunchy Snacks or Soft Snacks? Crunchy
    3. Healthy Snacks or Unhealthy Snacks? Unhealthy, though I try to mix in some Healthy. :)
    4. Chocolate Snacks or Non-Chocolate Snacks? Chocolate
    5. Homemade Snacks or Storebought Snacks? Homemade but usually go for store bought.

What's your favorite snack? I went through a phase where I loved sliced apple atop a toasted 15 grain bread smeared with peanut butter and sprinkled with cinnamon. Now, I'm really enjoying bell pepper and hummus. I like making a stacker with Wheat Thins, hummus, and bell pepper. Overall, though, I think my favorite snack is a bag of chips. Ruffles, but I also love Salt & Vinegar.

Bonus (Because I kept trying to write tacos here):
    2. Crunchy Tacos or Soft Tacos? Crunchy
