Hello & Happy May! I hope things are well in your life and you are ready to embark on another month of documenting and creating pages that bring you joy! I'm excited to host this month's inspiration challenge as I have been spending a lot of time focusing on things that matter to me and discovering what inspires me. So for this month's challenge, I'd like you to create a layout about something that is inspiring you right now - what and why. It doesn't have to be that deep - it can be anything from someone's recent achievement that is inspiring you to do something, a recipe that inspired you to try a new meal, a new gadget or app that is inspiring you in some way, something you recently read or heard that is inspiring you to do something, the change in seasons are inspiring some sort of new habit in your life, and so on. Or it can be deeper if it resonates with you in that way. For my take on this challenge, I wanted to document my recent running routine and how my Spotify playlists inspire me to run, and up my training time and intensity. I'm not a competitive runner by any means but I really like to participate in a "Run Like a Mother" 5K race every Mother's day. Last year, and this year, it's a virtual race so my drive to train hasn't as strong and the internal motivation to run regularly and push myself waned. However, I love music and I love creating playlists and these are a huge part of my motivation for getting up and moving my body. No good music means I just don't move my booty as well as I could, lol! Here's the layout I created to document how important my music playlists for inspiring my fitness and my overall mental health. With Mother's Day coming up this month and Father's Day in June, I chose to use my parents as inspiration with a vintage layout.
my inspiration is the upcoming date of my treatment being done, it's keeping me going that soon I will hopefully feel 'normal' again
