April 2021 challenge

Nature is close to my heart at the moment and is a big inspiration in my design work. It seems fitting for me to choose this topic to host your challenge this month.

This challenge is meant as inspiration for you to create a mixed media page, a jumping off point if you like.

• I'd like a 'digital nature wall' featured somewhere on your page, see my small Pinterest board as inspiration and reference.
• Your nature wall is a gathering of digital items in your stash such as foliage and flowers and other nature finds. Your items can be fresh or dried or pressed. They can include things like leaves and branches, flowers, bark and twigs and berries etc.
• You can arrange these however you like, in the inspiration board you will see that some of them are clustered together, some are scattered, some are taped down like a mood board or specimen study, some of them are arranged on old papers or books or tags.
• Your page can include a photo and journaling if you wish but it doesn't have to. You can create whichever style of page suits your muse!
• You may include other elements on your page however I'd love for your nature wall to be the highlight where possible and I'm excited to see where this challenge takes you. If you're inspired to include more than one 'nature wall' on your page that's cool too!

Challenge Requirements

• Your layout must be comprised of 100% Rachel Jefferies products; 90% must be currently available in her store. You may use up to 10% retired products
• You may use items from Mixed Media Monthly subscription Kits if Rachel was a collaborator (you are not limited however to just using her elements or papers etc. from these collaborations).
• You may use Mixed Media Monthly Add on Kits designed by Rachel
• Please Upload your layout to the Rachel Jefferies Desigers Gallery at TLP and list the products used in your credits.
• For your challenge entry to be counted, you MUST upload your finished layout to this thread. Please link your thread to your gallery image as it helps us leave love on your layout (and, validate your project).
• No double dipping…your layout must be used for this challenge only, no others.
• You must create a new layout for this challenge.
• This challenge will remain open until 30th April 2021.

Prizes

• One lucky artist will be randomly drawn to win a $10 coupon to the Rachel Jefferies shop.
• New Release Bonus Entry! If you use one of Rachel’s products released in April 2021 (a new release, M3, BYOC and even SOSN released in April 2021) you will get a bonus entry for a chance to win a $6 coupon (should you not be the $10 winner).
• Please let me know if you are eligible for the $6 entry by stating “New Release Bonus Entry” when you post in the forum.
