    Hello to April! Our theme for this month will be: April is for Artspiration where each week we will identify an art journal or mixed media artist we admire then encourage you to be inspired by that artist's works.

    Let's see where our first artist Teesha Moore takes you! http://www.teeshamoore.com She uses bold cutouts, paper piecing, vibrant colors, & her text art reminds me of @MrsPeel 's Zentangle art! Anyway! She instantly stood out to me as an artist that you guys could be inspired by for your scrapbooking. I used her webpage landing images for the APRIL header above too. So many layers to unpack & find.

    You may create any style of layout (ie. clean and simple, artsy, pocket style etc.) you wish, with or without a photo. Create any size page you wish. This is for everyone, so have fun and see where the inspiration takes you.

    Please post your layout to the Art Journaling Gallery HERE prior to May 1st, 2021 and then post it in this thread by copying the code (at the right of your gallery image) from the box under "Share BB Code".

    We will draw a winner at the beginning of next month for a coupon!! You can use any products in The Lilypad store or retired products from current Lilypad designers, (just make sure you follow our gallery guidelines).​

    I Like Being Inspired By Other Artists Of All Types,Styles & Genres!...Great Gallery! To Look At!...I Like All The Mix Of Colors!...Some Graphics!...Some Black In The Mix!...Shapes Too!...WA!...I Like That One Creatively Interesting..."Eye" There In One Of Her Pieces!...So I Have Taken That Part & I Have Several Eyes In My Piece Too!...And That In Combo With Everything Else I Just Mentioned...Gave Me My Influences To Create My Finished Page...Along With My Love Of Nature,Bright Spring/Summer Colors & Some Of Nature's Many Beautiful "Creatures"...

    Teesha Moore is one my long standing absolutely favorite mixed media/art journaling artists! What a fantastic pick for the week!!! And @EHStudios, what an AWESOME cover you made for this week's Artspiration.

    I needed a moment away from the computer and Photoshop - - thus, I'm a bit behind this week. But I will definitely make a Teesha Moore inspired layout.
