ok so you don't want zumba then - this lady is walk with leslie and is pretty basic and chatty her 15 & 20min videos are similar https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVl6ZdslZz2Zj-34bMJFPbg
squatting and standing in between getting all the pieces of wet laundry out of the machine can definitely be a workout & most of the year it's then 'bend and stretch' to hang it on the line outside - the pick up the toys? that's a killer!
And this group i had to go looking for, it's been a while, and they don't have a heap of videos (i never went to their other site) but i liked that they used real people (and being out of rhythm or whatever really didn't matter) - it's not so much 'let's learn the moves and then add them all together & make a dance out of it' as 'let's just do a bunch of exercises together' with drink breaks included! they're ' body project' https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFjc9H89-RpWuIStDqhO7AQ
i have wondered how many of the fitness things on youtube are probably available in the dollar bin of the dvd store but i listen to them more than watch them so it's just easier to leave them playing and listen with headphones than having to turn the tv up while i'm trying to not think of chores as housework more just 'movement opportunities' ;-) ( i listened to some of Watch Cheryl Scrap this morning but i have to keep coming back to look at the screen so i'm not as productive listening to them )
I take a 2.25 mile walk outside every day. I make sure I get in some hills to get the cardio going. Other than that I just purchased some resistance bands since I can't use weights anymore. The best thing for your core is to do planks - it gets a lot of your body and there's no equipment to buy!
I've been back at it since January and started off with Body Project...I love their workouts too since hubby and I are doing them together and we were both REALLY out of shape. Love that they give different levels and kept you moving. We've since found Sidney Cummings on YouTube and we really like her. My daughter started doing the workouts too and she all sorts of modifications, so it's as intense as you make it. She has a bazillion videos and I don't think we've repeated any of them yet. I would like to get into yoga...but something super, super basic. I am not very flexible and if I'm being honest, yoga scares me. I would like to improve my flexibility and core though and I just have to start somewhere. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVQJZE_on7It_pEv6tn-jdA
I love Leslie! I have some of her DVD's that I need to pull out and use again. I used them 10 years ago to get ready for the one and only 5K I've ever done. She has a lot of basic moves that once you learn them there is no problem building on them in the intermediate and advanced videos she has as well.
If you like to dance there is always The Fitness Marshall! He's so funny! I think I might burn more calories cracking up at him than dancing but....Yeah check out his youtube if you haven't already!! https://www.youtube.com/user/TheFitnessMarshall/videos
My current fave is BrandFitness with Marian - her music is my fave to vacuum to as well! it's still a workout! this is my fave but she has much shorter ones too & doesn't talk over it (which i prefer at times - like when vacuuming
