Welcome to the March “Stretch Your Stash” challenge. I always liked to journal but when I started digital scrapping there were not many journal cards. Now they are everywhere to purchase. But in this challenge, you will make your own journal cards. Use one kit from Lynn Grieveson Designs for which you do not have journal cards and make some of your own. Two popular sizes are 3x4” and 6x4”. Use one or both of these sizes to create two journal cards. If you like to write on yours, then leave space for that. If you prefer to use them decoratively, then fill them up with what pleases you. The big plus of making your own (in addition to saving money) is that you can suit your own taste -- ones you will actually use. Here are the guidelines for this challenge: 1. Post in the challenge thread a preview of two journal cards you created for this challenge and the kit you used. 2. Scrap a layout using at least one of the journal cards you created. 3. Post in Lynn’s gallery at the Lilypad and in this challenge thread in the same thread you used for the preview (so we can see them together). Deadline is March 31, 2021 midnight EST. 4. Have fun. One lucky winner will be randomly drawn for a $10 coupon. But remember that everyone is a winner and a participation prize of 25% off coupon on one Lynn Grieveson products order will be awarded to all other participants who complete the challenge. I, too, got a little carried away! Here's the first batch, using Blue Skies Ahead. I hope it's okay to display them this way; I didn't know how else to do it. And here's my layout:
@Sharon-shutterbug - these are terrific and I like the way you displayed them. Please note that in order to meet the challenge requirement you need to use one or more of them in a layout and come back and post it in this thread.
I wanted to post these two journal cards and make sure I did it right before I post the page. I used Lynn Grieveson's Authenticity kit. I made a page because it's more fun than laundry and dishes.
