    Hi!

Welcome to this month's technique scrap =) This month, we have been discussing the technique of Flat Lay Photography: HERE is the thread

    *********************************
Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery. GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

You have 24 hours to complete your LOs....they are due February 25 at 10pm Eastern
    *********************************

1- Start with a blank canvas (LO/page) any size
2- Add a photo that follows the "Flat Lay Photography" technique
3- Add 2 patterned papers (you can use a patterned paper as a background....or a plain paper as a background...but only 2 *patterned* papers total and unlimited PLAIN papers)
4- Add a cluster of elements with at least 5 items
5- Add at least 1 sentence of journaling (can be a quote or song lyric or anything you want)
6- Add a title and date (feel free to add additional elements here - ie...a date tag or word art title)

I can't wait to see your LOs! =)

My title is GOOD FAST FOOD, under the journaling on the left.
I just wanted to spend a little time with my TLP friends and scrap a little this evening. I don't think I have a great example of a flat lay photo, and I had already become attached to the Paislee papers and I'm tired and need to go to bed and I can't scrap tomorrow because I have to work. But it was good chatting and I like my page!
    Thanks! :love

Sorry I missed your chat, Farrah. I struggled with shadows since it is late at light and I do not have a lot of lighting options. But I understand the concept and will try it again for sure. I enjoyed pulling out my beads and composing this.

So sorry I missed the chat. I get up early (yesterday it was 4 a.m.) and I was totally asleep in my recliner at 8 p.m. (the time of the chat for me). Here is the nativity pic I had mentioned in the last LEAP chat.

Definitely I'll continue practicing the flat lay technique, thank you so much for taking the time and teaching us photography tips. I enjoyed so much the chatting, and I thank to everyone for the nice time. Here's my take, full credits in gallery. Wishing you all a fabulous weekend, soon March, time goes by so fast! My title is "Eat well", but when added the date, I noticed a big date would look better.

I managed to get a photo composed this morning and get it done. I do think I need some paint on the background though, it feels naked.

And just because she's so cute, my cat had to investigate this odd behavior (I see another layout opportunity)

Thanks for the great tips - I haven't played much with my photography and shadows in too long it was fun to try some different setups. Here's what I ended up with.

This one is last minute. I had one of freesia's that I thought I would use, but it did not seem to fit the final criteria ( used it for the style challenge instead.
