January 31: Scrap from your Heart

Thank you for this challenge. It is a great end to an exeptional month

 

Apparently my daughter has been striking her "signature pose" for more years than I realized!

Thank you for this lovely challenge! I tooled around with a few different ideas of what I would do but once I saw this picture, I knew it was the one. I knew it could be a layout I sobbed my way through scrapping, but I wanted to give it a go. I think I didn't truly know the value of any of my moments "before"! I also feel like I grew up a lot in the next 2-3 days after this photo was taken!

I can't believe this is my page 31 for this year MOC! I surely will miss the excitement of discovering the new challenge of the day, the fun in creating the lo and the joy of seeing it finished! This last challenge was a very pleasant surprise, I loved it even if it brought a few tears with it.

I thought I posted this in this thread earlier, but don't see it so to be sure am posting it here. This is my layout for today's Scrap From the Heart challenge, created using Sara Gleason's Family Almanac kit:

I find it hysterical that I kept up the entire time, and on the last layout - I was stumped. I could not do another death page - so many of those "endings" and cherished memories mean mourning a death again. I had just about given up, when I saw this picture.

Motherhood is full of ends, beginnings, and memories that you are too tired to cherish in the moment.

And with this, MOC 9 is in the can.

 

This is my favorite photo of my daughter and my Dad...the quote fits this moment perfectly. Although I have SO much to say about this I wanted the photo to just speak for itself, any journal would have saddened it. He loved her so much and I miss him incredibly. Thank you for this challenge!

well, today is 7 years that my mom passed away...I miss her so much!

 

Thanks for the challenge! This one almost made a little weep-y lol

 

I had a good weep, not only doing my page, but reading the different stories from the other pages too.

 

This was emotional. Thank you all for all the work you have done for us this month!

 

@mrs2a50 I have tried about 10 times to update my LO in this thread, but it will not update to my corrected copy. Nor will it in my MOC LO's thread. I don't know what to do. My LO in the gallery is correct.
