@jesskab Thank you for this interesting challenge. The search for the perfect elements to help highlight the journaling was quite the adventure. I had such a vision in my head for this page and I think, in the end, was successful and fulfills the challenge. Thanks for putting forth such a creative idea!
Excellent!! Another fun challenge! I like to journal and when I am writing by hand, I will often emphasize points and topics with asterisks, underlines, circles, etc. But this way I get to add color! Thank you @jesskab for hosting a great challenge! MOC 9 Jan 29 - Just The Highlights by rrred68 posted Jan 31, 2021 at 4:47 PM
168 words- I changed fonts, bold & changed color of 10 words {}: We are so {LUCKY} to have Lake Coeur d’Alene so close & our home away from home! The kids are great little boaters! Hayden has her 'spot' and uses a towel for a blanket against the wind. Declan has always taken “{BOAT NAPS}” and now that he’s too big to sleep in my arms, he loves to ‘rest’ away from the wind under Papa Neal’s feet! Lucy loves and {LIVES} for boat rides. She is the first on & the last off at the dock. She’s the bow dog- loves to climb up & see out onto the water! Jeremy or Neal like to drive and Angela co-pilots. We usually go to Harrison for ice cream, Sunup Bay for boat gas & to visit friends, tubing at Windy Bay or sometimes up the St. Joe river to St. Maries. I enjoy the wind in my face & the sun on my shoulders. {THERE IS NO PLACE MORE BEAUTIFUL} than out on the water looking at the Idaho mountains!
Thanks for the challenge! It's been a long time since I highlighted words like this--I should remember to do it more often! (Journaling is 170 words with 10 highlighted.)
Thank you! Journaling is about 270 words. It was 279 before I copied and pasted it onto the layout, but I made a few wording changes after pasting. Still well over the minimum journaling limit, however.
