January 30 - Extreme Shadows-3D sculpture world/place

This was A CHALLENGE. Which is exactly what I come here for, so thank you! I'm really crossing my fingers that I got this right, it's so way out of my comfort zone!

This took me forever to put together. I dreamed about it last night and at least figured out how to finish it off. Please let me know if it passes muster.

 

I had the idea, but don't think I executed it as well as I hoped I could.

Did my best with Artisan shadowing options...

 

Once I got the original shape cut out, I had fun with this one. My imaginary place is called Chaos.

 

This was fun, @AnneofAlamo! Thank you for the creative break from my normal, regular scrapbooking. I ended up with a page about my home state - do I get to call it my home state if I've been living here for the last 29 years? What's that saying ... I'm a Texan - I wasn't born here, but I got here as fast as I could. - I decided to include 3 of the things I love about Texas: our wildflowers, our food, and our football.
