Thank you- I chatted with my mother in law, and though our conversation veered away from the photo subject, it was still important to capture.
This almost killed me! But this story had to be told You should have seen my dad's face when I told him I had to interview him, he was so happy!
OMGeee!!!! These turned out spectacular!!! The double page spread is fabulous (I didn't think to do that) And the single large cluster on each page....ooooo-weeeee!!!!
I did it and forgot to add here! oh goodness! My mom is so hard to get a story out of! I get gift of gab from my dad...but this finally came around to being fun! Finding the photo of my GREAT gramma was a bonus!
I did my interview today. I think it's okay, but there's a chance it's not "interview' enough. I was getting ready to scrap photos of my daughter in a chorus concert last year, and it brought back memories of her first performance on the same stage 6 years earlier, for her kindergarten play. It was more conversation style than true interview--I asked if she remembered something or how she felt about it, she told me what little she remembered, and then I filled in the blanks with my memories of the play. There were lots of questions asked and answered, but one thing naturally led into the next rather than me starting out with a specific list and sticking to it.
