Thank you for the challenge, only paper and paint. The title is cut out, though it is hard to see.It was fun .
So many beautiful pages in this thread! Thank you all so much for playing along. You are all so creative and have offered really good questions, so I am further clarifying. See here and in the clarifications post. ** The spirit of this challenge is to work with limited supplies and create a page with limited embellishment other than from paper and paint. "Cutting" paper into basic shapes is absolutely fine. However, cutting out specific objects or patterns from the paper serves to create your own elements which are not allowed. Templates used for placement and basic shapes are fine. But please don't clip papers to the portions of a template that are meant to represent embellishments, this also defeats the intent of the challenge. I know that sometimes these rules seem arbitrary, but it is a challenge after all. Thank you!**

I used 10 papers and 2 paints (blue splatter from template, yellow paint) (the background is all one paper) and the title is 2 layers of a font (Olive) covered in paper
I wanted to use a template because I admit I am horrible with using papers. I really struggle with them. But I had so so much fun doing this page! I used a ton of paint, the background paper is grungy paint too, so blending my son into it made his artsy self happy too! Thank you for a fun morning of scrapping!
this was fun and I liked how it focused on the photos The piece that looks like a journal card is just a piece of paper from brown paper packages clipped to the rectangle. the title is the futura font with paper clipped to it
This was such a challenging challenge! I always love to fill my layouts with lots of embellishments. I used a background paper that already had the painted plusses and newsprint on it and clipped a woodprint paper (plus a brush stroke) on top of the title (because of the photo subject) that I created with a font and to one of the circles. I explicitly didn't put an emboss style on them so you can see it's paper and not a wooden alpha or element. I placed simple circle shapes on top of each other with papers clipped to it to create an illusion of flowers and added a few simple almond shapes with papers clipped to it that reminds of leaves. I hope this all follows the guidelines as I only used existing papers clipped to a few basic shapes and simple paint strokes and splatters.
