Hey, hey scrappers! The Lilypad store is full of digi goodies and I love to fill up my layouts with as many of them as I can. Kinda like when you go to the salad bar and have to try everything so you fill your plate as full as you can... Piling it all on and filling it up is what inspired today's "Fill Up the Template" challenge. You MUST USE the provided MOC Day 27 Template from our fabulous, Mirjam of Pink Reptile Designs as your starting point. You MUST ADD additional layers and elements to fill up at least 2/3 of your layout. You can flip it and rotate it to make the page your own, but please make sure l can easily recognize your layout as originating from the provided template. If you are new to using templates in digital scrapbooking or just need a refresher, here is a tutorial from Cheryl to get you started. Saving for questions Question: Can we also add photos and papers or only elements? Answer: You can add photos but I must be able to easily recognize that you used the provided template, so keeping the circle photo spot and some other template layers would help with that. You can add papers too (I did) but please remember to adorn them with elements so the layout is 2/3 filled. -------------------------------------------- Question: @keepscrappin in addition to more photos and elements, can we add from another template to help fill the background - in particular I'm thinking of Cheryl's balloons up up and away template - or one of Lynn's multi-photo ones depending on what subject I scrap. Answer: in case others are wondering the same. Yes you can add from another template for help filling the background, clustering etc. just make sure I can easily recognize that you used the provided template and credit what you used. -------------------------------------------

First off, thank you for the wonderful template!! This was actually a lot more challenging than I initially thought it was going to be! (I mean that in a good way) I rotated the template counterclockwise 90 degrees and moved some things around, but kept almost all of the original attributes - so hopefully it's still recognizable!
ok ladies, I'm heading to bed. I'll check back in the morning to answer any more questions. Look at my layout, and Amanda's and Sheri's layouts and you should be good. I can't wait to see what ya'll come up with.
Wow, this was fun! And a real challenge. I love filled layouts and I love to cluster, but I had never done anything like this. So thank you for the challenge! I had a lot of fun.
Here's my layout for today's Fill Up The Template challenge, created with Pink Reptile Designs' lovely template and No Probllama elements & papers. The template elements are in the center middle of the layout with layers extending up and down from them as well as some extensions to the right and left. https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/01_27-fill-up-template.460851/
@keepscrappin in addition to more photos and elements, can we add from another template to help fill the background - in particular I'm thinking of Cheryl's balloons up up and away template - or one of Lynn's multi-photo ones depending on what subject I scrap. Edit: I've found an alternative story I can tell with fewer photos. So I won't need to use either of those other templates.
