January 24: Color wheel / Complementary Colors

What An Interesting Challenge!...So Many Beautiful! Layouts Here!...This Challenge I Had To Re-Do...Apparently Our Monitors @amandaresende Saw The Colors Differently In My First Layout...So To Be Super! Clear!...I Created Another Layout In Blue & Orange! & I Will Have The Original Layout In My Gallery As Is...LOL!...Live & Learn!...

Hopefully this fits the requirements. I checked the RGB colour wheel and the exact numbers are slightly off, but the yellow/blue is contrasting.

 

I picked Red-Purple & Yellow-Green

 

I went with turquoise blue and pink.

I choose Red and Green

 

I used a version of blue and orange. I used the Adobe tool to match the sofa cushion (it's not teal, it's not navy: it's some kind of deep teal with a greyed-down navy vibe, I guess). What came up as the complement was a muddied, rusty orange. I don't often use orange, it's just not my favourite colour; but I really like this colour scheme. Thank you for the awesome challenge!

@amandaresende Thank you for the challenge. I have never really used a color wheel before. I can see it has lots of potential for page design. When you have time (I know you are busy with MOC), I have questions about the use of the color wheel in this challenge. I played it safe for in my challenge entry.

 

Here is mine - orange and blue (my school colors too!)

 

I chose Red-Purple and Yellow-Green

 

Thanks for the great challenge! I don't normally use complementary colors, but I like the way mine came out. I chose red and green. If my greens are a bit too yellow-green for the challenge, please let me know and I'll adjust the hue. Thanks!
