the time making this page was a great reminder in the Joy I must keep my in my heart and life! Thank you Christa!
I will accept it.. it is mainly yellow with subtle washed bits of of a paler yellow .. it is all in the same hue.. the premise behind it being a nuetral is so that the background is not screaming and filled with brightness/darkness and busy-nees that it takes away from the photo.. clean and simple is a style to allow the photo to shine without the need to embellish it with a lot of distraction, if that makes sense. And I am laughing as no it was not planned after yesterday's filled page to do an "empty" page today.. it is funny that it worked out that way though
Thank you! That's how I think of neutral . . . plain . . . but I think it could be argued that it means shades of gray. Maybe. I don't remember my minimal art education.
I had fun with this challenge. It's definitely difficult for me to resist adding more!!! Five elements: Gold foliage, flower, ribbon, snowflake & banner Some journaling is allowed (a title, date, word art): I used all three Photo is framed with a stroke (beige/reduced opacity)
This was hard for me, but I always love the results. If my paint is too bold, let me know. Thanks for the challenge!
Thank you @cfile! This was a fun challenge requiring a bit of self-restraint, but with a pleasing result.
