Apparently we do like like to look at our selves, apart from the dress mirror in the bedroom, the bathroom one is the only other one ,-well at least the shelf got a dust , and I had fun, so thanks a lot for the challenge.
this picture is really not perfect but I found it so poetic, so I kept it ... Thank you for this fabulous challenge!
oh I seriously gave Tracy a run for her money on can I use this? how about this? NO, no, and she was so sweet. We had a mirror hanging over fireplace all summer and fall. I love it there, was a great find. Then we had a fire in fireplace (the stickies made for hanging) melted and mirror slid down the tile. I asked him today, Could you hang the mirror over the fireplace? He got to doing it, and Im helping, I go wait! I have a challenge! He laughed, of course the M O C~
1-13-21 IN A MIRROR I took this photo standing on the stairs to capture the reflection of our entry way table with my favorite art piece hanging over it. It's a map of our neighborhood with a red arrow that points to our lot (close up shots in the layout). I see this everyday when I go downstairs to my office/craft room and I smile each time. We chose our lot based on it was the best and last corner lot left and it was a nod to my birthdate. The lot # is 701. My birthday is 7/01. I used template by FDD-Rituals that I modified a bit. I used pieces out of Lynn Grieveson Sharp-eyed and Nesting.
It was funny watching Harlow look at herself when I placed the mirror in front of her to take this photo.
oy . i have to find a mirror. only ones are glued full lenght to back of bathroom door and over the sinks . i will figure out something .
I captured two photos of my bathroom in the "dressing" mirror on the door and one in the mirror over the vanity.
I have always enjoyed playing around with photographing in mirrors. But when I got to this assignment the only large mirrors in our home were bathroom and the reflections of blank walls or towels. So I set up some photos ops with a compact mirror and a hand mirror (used in the layout) but my favorite was the artsy mosiac mirror and where it hangs I can't get far from it. However the reflections of my hands on the iphone making the shot was my favorite so I gave it center stage in my layout.
Thanks for the challenge! I spent WAY too much time trying to get a picture I liked, but this one is kind of cool! The mirror is tilted to you have a top view in the mirror and a side view in real life.
Fun challenge. There is such beauty in tea, teacups, and teapots. This photo reflects the beauty of my collection. What makes it even more beautiful is the mirror reflection of my great aunt’s secretary that is holding teacups that were in my parent’s home for my whole lifetime. I am blessed now to have them in my home. 1-13-21
