Your tear can be anywhere you like it to be as long as there are also two layers... one base layer (can be torn or untorn) and one top layer that is torn.
Here is mine. Fun challenge! I put some instructions of how I did it for Artisan users below in case anyone is interested. Artisan Users: 1. Insert 2 papers. Layer two papers on top of each other. 2. Cut the edge of one with a paper rip straight cut. 3. Flatten the papers together 4. Cut the text out of the flattened papers. 5. To make a white outline, insert an outliner and make it your desired width and colour.
I appreciate the freebie, but chose to use some ripped and stitched templates I already have from Lynn Grieveson. This is a two page spread for an 8.5x11 album (that's why it has empty space in the middle). Karen, I love how you scrapped your post milestone with screenshots from the forum!
Nevermind @QuiltyMom @BevG Here's some instructions from @Becky https://the-lilypad.com/forum/threads/january-6-torn-title.75219/page-3#post-1306117
I decided to make my title a big focus and "tuck" some goodies into the torn paper Thanks for the torn paper template Lynn! Super fun challenge Karen!
@Karen ...I'm Not Sure I Did This Correctly...Maybe It Looks Different Because My Words Are Embossed...??? Your Opinion Before I Post This...Please...And Thanks!...Rhonda...
I did mine a different way, making a custom shape out of the letters and using it as a photo spot where the edge shape can be inserted and resized. Would you like me to do something up for that?
