This wasn't as colourful as I intended but after yesterday's colourful layout I guess my subconscious needed something softer today
Flowers are NOT my thing... Did not count, other than to et to 20...Way more than that... hope this works... I did have fun with it... Hope you can read the comic strip....
13 different flowers in each cluster. The Bloom & Grow Collab was perfect for this challenge! Not normally what I would do, but I enjoyed the challenge. It also works with the picture of my grandson who hand-picked a bouquet of flowers for me last summer. What a sweet boy!
Fun challenge! I don't tend to use a lot of flowers and I was inspired to cluster from Sherri's layout. 24 flowers in cluster.
The 1st Rule of Flower Club - Don't EVEN ask me HOW Many Flowers are in this layout!! You are more than welcome to try to count them, but I will tell you this, there are for sure over 20 and there are over 4 colors of flowers in each "colored" area (ie there are 5 different colored white-ish flowers, there are 4 shades of black, there are 4 shades of purple, 2 shades of fuschia, and 4 shades of pink). I did some edits and added a title and a few stars, wasn't sure if that was minimal enough, but I think this completes the layout better.
Background paper from "I Get Back Up" kit brushes from "Light me Home" Flowers from Light me Home, I Get Up, Find Peace, Finnfara, This Life Here, Honest, Crab Shack, Brand new Day, Batty, Apple of my Eye, Mixed Media Monthly Dec: Dents and Scratches.
I made it! Had a hard time using more than 3 colors of flowers but ended up with yellow, brown, white, green, and blue. I recolored a purple flower to make it brown and took the color out of the paint transfer to make it go better with the layout. I have 23 flowers. Thank you for making me do something unusual for me!
Phew .... and DONE! 50 individual flowers, and I hope the stamp is ok? It just looked a little blah to my eye without it but am happy to take it out if its not right Monica. Thanks for the fun and stash busting challenge!
