    Gratitude, thankfulness, or gratefulness, from the Latin word gratus ‘pleasing, thankful’, is a feeling of appreciation felt by and/or similar positive response shown by the recipient of kindness, gifts, help, favors, or other types of generosity, towards the giver of such gifts.

    Here in the United States it is Thanksgiving week. Thanksgiving is more than just baking, cooking, and drinking wine. It’s that time when families get together to share their stories and celebrate all the blessings they’ve received throughout the entire year. It’s also a special day for people to show their appreciation for everyone in their lives.

    For this week I want you to journal about Gratitude, you can use your own words or you can find a quote like I did.

    *Gratitude wins our wars.*
    Because gratitude isn't only a celebration
    when good things happen;
    Gratitude's a declaration that God is good

    You may create any style of layout (ie. clean and simple, artsy, pocket style etc.) you wish, with or without a photo. Create any size page you wish. This is for everyone, so have fun and see where the inspiration takes you.

    Barbara, mine probably isn't exactly what you wanted, but I'm going to do another one. I just had so much fun playing all evening with this pocket page. I've had a hectic last couple of days and I'm grateful that I had some along time this evening and I could just let my creativity have fun. I'm also grateful that I have a wonderful husband who doesn't care if I sit at my computer and relax by being creative. Thanks for the challenge and I'll probably make another page. I just enjoyed "piling things on" this page and it's ALL about gratefulness. I used 3 of Val's wonderful Thanksgiving/being grateful kits that were just perfect for the way I felt tonight.
