For whatever reason, I really struggle answering this question.
    1. Elements
    2. Availability of photos (i.e. photos I haven't already over-used, lol)
    3. Creative mood / inspiration

I'd say my number 1 thing is my spreadsheet of things I want to scrap. That can be because I have a memory I want to journal about or more often than not, because I have a picture or pictures I want to scrap with. Next, I cannot scrap without templates... or at least I don't wanna! It gives me the best starting point. And finally I love being inspired by a fun new kit. I'm especially drawn in if it's bright and colorful. :agree

I use templates for most of my pages. I'm not sure that I use anything else as much and as readily as I do those.

    1. Templates
    2. Photos
    3. Word Arts for Titles

Almost a tie for 3rd place was paint splatters or watercolors for the background of my pages.

    1. Memories-Within my "To Scrap" folder, I organize photos and journaling by creating a sub-folder for each page I want to make. So my first step is always to scroll through those page folders and pick my topic/photos.

    2. Template

    3. Kit-First I pay attention to theme, then I narrow down the thematically-appropriate kits by color. For pages that aren't heavily themed it's color first, mood second.

-100% word art to help me set up the page & help narrow down photos
-challenges to spark an idea & again narrow down photos
-templates or artsy paper, both help define where to put photos for me

I never will have a lack of photos! Way too many!!!

    1. Most recent memories / photos
    2. Templates - sometimes I'd feel more motivated to start scrapping a certain memory because of a template, like maybe it has enough photo slots, the design / clustering, or theme of the template.
    2. Challenges. I love how challenges help me to see my photos / memories in a scrappable way (lol - does that word even exist in the dictionary?). Sometimes I want to start scrapping certain photos but put it off because having no ideas of how to scrap it. I have a tendency to overthink my pages, so challenges are super helpful to jumpstart that creative process.
