Are you ready to take a LEAP?

The goal is to expand the learning pad and give me a bit more time to add mini-lessons to the monthly Technique scrap so we aren't rushed. Look forward to a new theme each month with lesson posts and Q&A chats....followed up with our monthly 24 hr- Technique slow scrap.

    OCTOBER 11 CHAT

    What is double exposure?
In photography, multiple exposure is a combination of two or more exposures to create a single image. Initially, this was a technique in which the camera shutter is opened more than once to expose the film multiple times, usually to different images. However, with our modern software, we can easily recreate a similar effect in Adobe Photoshop.

What types of photos work the best?
The base image can be anything you'd like, but a photo with strong contrast, without a cluttered background works the best. A portrait of a person is ideal.
The overlaying image can be anything at all...from a landscape scene, cityscape, or even another portrait.

Can we take photos with the cellphone camera and then go to the photo editor?
Absolutely! Any photo can be used.

    Haven't we done this before?
YES...we did this for an MOC challenge in 2016....here is the link

    OCTOBER 19 CHAT

Let's brainstorm ideas of what types of photos to use:

    Mother/daughter
    maternity bump and ultrasound
dreamlike theme - where you'd rather be?
dearly departed pet with a rainbow
    wedding photos
the same photo twice- different sizes
    a favorite memory
changing seasons...fall leaves vs snow or a lovely fireplace inside-snowy scene outside
Theme park ride and upclose photo of faces on ride
Something spooky and a Halloween scene

    the possibilites are endless.

Here are some more ideas to spark the creativity:
