I also have PSE and did my best. Used hard edge and manipulated for label and noisy soft edge for flowers.

thank you for hosting this. I'm using it to help me process some grief. We lost my friend suddenly yesterday to sepsis.
@Rachel Jefferies Thank you for creating the Silent Battles - Grief collection. I picked up the elements pack this morning and it has really helped me.

I started with Rachel's template but switched out many cards and elements and played with all shadows. Used all September BYOC products.

    For your Shadow challenge
I used a hard shadow on the photo, tape, and journaling label. I used a softer shadow for the string (Where I lifted it off the page) and the butterfly. Thanks for the challenge.

Yea! Keep the awesome shadow filled layouts coming! I am totally loving the lifted edges on photos and strings and how many are adding "depth" by using soft and hard shadows. Please remember to tell us what you've done, shadow wise, when you post your layout in the forum.

I used a harder shadow on the button and the journal card but I did soften the edges more on the journal card. I also separated and warped the shadows on the word bits, sequins, paper punches and metal rings suing different distance and opacity.

I have different shadows on the papers, harsher ones, and more soft shadows on the flower, messy stitching and geo marker. I warped shadows on stitching, label, and torn paper.

    Thanks for the awesome challenge!

    Here's my LO:
Used Rachel's M3 add-on: Be Here, Now (New Release Bonus Entry)

Drop shadow on paper bits around picture. Deepenened the shadow on the flower, the stitching at bottom of frame, even on sequins. Used burn tool on foliage right under the flower edge.
