Hello everyone! I'm happy to host this month's photography challenge. After a few months of not picking up my camera at all, it felt good to start capturing life around me again. Photography always helps me see things a bit better and inspires me to be more creative, often when I need it most. This month, I'd like you to join me in using the lens to capture the things in your life that bring a smile to your heart. So your photography challenge is to take a photo of something that you are loving right now, and create a layout with that photo/photos. Here is my photo of me right now loving to explore nature and kayaking, and the layout I created (using products from Just Jaimee/July Storyteller, Sabrina's Creations/Calmness Mini Kit & Summer Vibes, Pink Reptile Designs/Wildflowers, and Memory Pockets Monthly/Arise). I can't wait to see what you are loving and your layouts with your photo/s! Remember, your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges' the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
Seeking to find beauty in the small things, I'm just taking my camera out into my own back yard (since we are under travel restrictions anyway).
I love that it's almost spring here and we can see lots of houses with Bougainvilles in bloom! this one was spotted during our walk on the neighborhood!
Thanks for a great challenge! Living in the country, for the first time in my life, is making me very happy right now.
