Thank you for this prompt. It was fun.

 

So when the challenge is not exactly your cup of tea... Then the challenge becomes, "Make it work!!!!" as shown by the variety of takes on this challenge... I don't think Stripes or patterned papers are necessarily our go tos... I got caught up in the "Make it work" thing and went looking at my recent purchases for inspiration... Loved this bright floral paper... and WOW... it is a repeated pattern...! wanting to stay in the same kit, I hope the zig zag lines qualify as stripes... if not let me know.... and I have been totally intrigued with the torn paper pieces on one layer... so that is my other paper... I had fun with this one... Had not planned on doing this tonight...

Not a frequent user of many patterned papers so this took me out of my comfort zone but made me very happy for my son and his 53rd birthday today. I had a rare visit with him (Covid time ... ) and he really loved this page!!

 

I just loved this template and had to use it again for another challenge.
