Hello everyone!! Can you believe that we are already 2/3 of the way through this year...although I'm sure that for most of us we wish that it was over already. I hope that all of you are keeping as safe and healthy as you can!! I am bringing you the August Style Challenge this month...and I'm totally excited to bring you the Pop of Colour Style!! I am a huge fan of this style...and while I was perusing my pinned scrapbook inspiration pages on Pinterest, this style just kept coming up over and over. It's a pretty easy style to follow: 1. Take a black and white photo 2. Keep the majority of your page black and white 3. Use one colour for pops of visual excitement!!! Here is my layout for the challenge!! As always: your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges' the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I can't wait to see all the pops of colour in the gallery!!!
Can I use selective colouring in the photo as well or does the photo have to be strictly black and white?
You can use selective colouring as long as it is the same one colour you are using in your layout Yes!! It can be one from your stash
Normally, I think of Becca's stuff and bright colours and happiness. But this worked. And I extracted self and the Panda's, there were a bunch of random strangers in the background. We all know how that works. I had fun, thank you!
