NBK Design Document Your Summer Challenge - August 1-30

Happy August y’all! CTM Robin here with the second part of the Document Your Summer Challenge. Last month you made one page of your 2 page layout, and that means this month you will make the second one. Remember that both pages must coordinate together so they will share the same colors, theme, or event. Nicole has provided the second template and it is GORGEOUS! Just like in July, you’ll need to follow a few rules (though some new ones this time!):

RULES:

1. You must use the template Nicole has provided
2. Use THREE photos taken outside, the color blue, brushwork of some kind (can be textured), and a journal card.

Of course you can add more of any of these, but your layout needs to meet the minimum. Don’t forget too that at the end of the month, FOUR lucky winners will receive a $5 coupon to the NBK Design store. How amazing is that??!!

I used Nicole's Sandy Beaches Collection and Easy Peasy Cards 2 which were perfect for my Lake Michigan photos.

As you can see, you do need to post both July and August pages this month. For those of you who don't know how to post a double page spread, here is what I did. I created a 12x24 blank document. Then I opened my left side and selected all the layers. Next, with the layers selected, I pressed Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E (Win) or Command + Option + Shift + E (Mac) and created a merged copy. I moved that copy to my 12x24 document. I repeated the process for the right side and aligned the two sides after moving it over. Then I flattened my 12x24 and resized it as usual to 400x800. Done!!

Small print:

1. This challenge ends on the 31st of August.
2. At the end of August, four lucky scrappers will randomly be chosen to win a $5 coupon to the NBK Designs store.

I'm blown away by the amazing pages I've seen thus far! It's only the 4th and already the thread is full of goodness!

 

I love how everyone is scrapping something different! It goes to show you how versatile templates can be. These are simply gorgeous!
