I've been told that I've over used this paper pack and elements by Kristin for chess game layouts. Does anyone have any suggestions for other paper packs (or kits) that contain a paper with a grid of squares in two colours that could represent a chess board?

I am not big on patterned paper but I'll check my Lightroom where I've tagged a lot of papers by pattern category...stripe, text, etc.

Wanting to take advantage of the Christmas in July sale....I’m looking for two things

    1) a winter kit without heaps of snow related items - where I live is more cold and rainy than snowing

    2) a Christmas kit....not sure what to buy to be honest. I don’t necessarily want a traditional Christmas kit because its summer time but with having a North American family our customs are fairly traditional

Wet and cold is our normal with some ice, and occasional snow. I like to use these for winter pages:

Have you tried a Document Your December Collection? They are a bit like a Christmas special BYOC. My favourite two are
Fa La La - 2017 - more traditional colour scheme
    and
Merry & Bright - 2016 - brighter colours some would work well for a more summery look - I'm using kits from this one at the moment.

I would say if you have more pics of the traditional things you do INSIDE the house, then I would go with a fun Xmas kit like one of these:

    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I know these have a few snowflakes but the colors make you think of cold and wet and they are really unexpected for holiday, so that's why I like them so much. LOL!!!

I know this is an ISO thread but dang, I need these. Thanks for enabling me, Jennifer! :) Paula has some fun comic-papers that might work.

She has elements and other papers, but I'm on my phone, which isn't liking my image/linking lol. Here is the element pack link: https://the-lilypad.com/store/Comics-Boom-Elements.html

I'm trying to get my son's Boy Scout album done. I'm specifically looking for ways to scrap the letters and awards/recognitions he received when he became an Eagle. So, any templates and/or kits would be most appreciated! I must admit that my poor brain is running out of ideas.

    Thanks!!! :bk

Jan, I am not sure what you are looking for because I don't know anything about Boy Scouts. Any pictures you can share?

@Dalis Well, this info would've helped, wouldn't it? See how brain dead I am! lol!

What I'm looking for is mostly how to scrap all the congratulatory letters and such, so not much in the way of Scouting stuff is needed (I've mostly been using outdoors kits for that.) I didn't know if people had used particular kits for certificates, letters and things like that. Does that make sense? I can always embellish them with the scouting-related goodies I already had. Hope this helps! And any templates would make the process easier! I'm still going through what the store has, but I may miss something in the process.
