    Have a holly, jolly Christmas
It's the best time of the year
    I don't know if there'll be snow
But have a cup of cheer …

The theme for the Document Your December event last year was Holly Jolly, and as usual, the designers pulled out all the stops and created a huge and stunning holiday collection. The assortment included scores of pocket journaling cards with clever and colorful messages on them. These cards make scrapping a breeze and, oftentimes, the cards have the ideal message to make the perfect layout. For our challenge today, I thought we would focus on pocket journaling cards. My challenge is to use AT LEAST FOUR pocket journaling cards on your layout. It does NOT have to be a holiday layout nor does it have to be a pocket page. Just make sure you use at least four cards.

Here is my pocket page using lots of pocket cards from the 2019 DYD Holly Jolly Collection.

I look forward to seeing your layouts!!

Recap: The challenge for today is to scrap a layout incorporating at least 4 pocket journaling cards.

Reminder: your page must contain at least 75% current Lilypad product. Your page should be posted in your Lilypad Gallery AND to this thread.

This challenge will have one random $3 winner. You have until 11:59pm EDT on July 31 to complete the challenge.

I don't usually scrap with pocket cards but enjoyed the challenge to use them.

Because my layout is letter size, the size of the journal cards (4 of them) was adjusted to work with the layout. One (captured) was enlarged slightly for the actual journaling.

Maybe I'm cheating just a bit since I created a page with Val's journal cards as soon as I saw it released on Thursday night. I'm sharing the page here, 2 JC on the top row, 2 JC on the bottom row. :tree

I had so much fun putting this together. The "T" right in the middle is made up of Pocket Cards. The rest of the pockets are patterned paper. Thanks for the challenge.

LOVED this little fun challenge - I used Elif Sahin Journal cards, top left, middle far right and x2 on the bottom row.

I made a foundation page. If that's not okay let me know. Thanks!

I never do well at documenting December so I'm going to try this out for 2020, maybe in August AND December. I'm going to print the alphabet cards so a family member can pick one each day. Then we'll decide together what to do and I'll take at least one picture to fill this page digitally. I'll use Kim's stapled sequin numbers to note which day we do each letter.
