If my life was a movie it would be Groundhog's Day. You know the part where it's the same over and over. I could really use a change of scenery right about now... wish we could go on our Hawaii trip that got cancelled the end of March. If your life was a movie, what movie would it be?
Oh how weird. We watch it quite frequently - my youngest dd knows every line in that movie. I started to post "As Good As It Gets" - another favorite and another one that dd knows every line. LOL
I think mine is going to have to be Dazed and Confused. Life has been giving me hit after hit this year. I'm still reeling from a few things so the movie title accurately describes my mental state. LOL
LOL i like these, and seeing i've just been emptying the dishwasher and changed the sheets and threw them in the wash, The Mummy's Curse comes to mind (the setting would be less Egyptian pyramids and more a suburban laundry & kitchen) And since they went back to face to face school, afternoons have gone back to being like Jurassic Park, where they shriek about being starving and tear the house apart looking for food the minute they get thru the door like velociraptors, annnnd that pretty much signals the start of The Mummy's Curse all over again like it's a loop like your Groundhog Day, Kayla (sorry about your Hawaii trip! I hope you got credit for a future trip) (Oh and DH and i do plot The Mummy's Revenge when i get to boiling point and have to debrief (you know, when they eventually have their own places, we'll go eat all their snacks, leave the last drop of milk in the fridge and leave wet towels and single socks around everywhere!)
One Flew Over the Cockoo's Nest from starring out the Rear Window all the time with nothing else to do except listen to the Sound of Music because every day is Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It's still A Wonderful Life though.
At the moment it is definitely going to be...INSIDE OUT. It has been an ongoing emotional rollercoaster at our house lately.
As last 'normal' year for me/us was early 2018 I think I would request a Monty Python's "Life of the Reynolds".
