Hello and welcome to the June photography challenge! This month I want to encourage you to use your camera to capture images that brings you peace and a bit of serenity. For me, that is going out into nature and capturing the landscape around me, which right now happens to be the many things blooming in my yard. One of my best ways to de-stress my mind is to focus on the beauty around me and capture that serenity. So, grab your camera and show me what brings you peace! I can't wait to see the images you capture on your layouts. Here is my "serenity now" photo, scrapped with the May 2020 Memory Pockets Monthly collection: Reminder: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the June Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
For this page I used Sabrina's Creations Artist and the frame from Sabrina's Creations Yes sss frame # 3 Taking photos brings me great peace and serenity, best to be done alone as no one wants to wait around for me to look at all the details that I adore.
Manatees are frequent visitors but hard to capture in the marina, so whenever we see them, they draw a crowd. I could watch them forever. This photo was taken up the dock in a vacant slip, so nobody had a hose handy to offer them fresh water.
