June Inspiration Challenge

Well, it's June. I can hardly believe it. This year seems to be simultaneously flying by and dragging on.

I have struggled with finding inspiration to create this month. Between the shock of the global pandemic and the heartbreak of racism that continues to rear it's ugly head in my own country, things feel heavy, solemn, and just sad at the moment. I hope this month brings better and brighter days for us all.

Just a day before the challenge was due I was flipping through the latest issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine and low and behold, mosaic is back. (Maybe it never left??). There was a lengthy article with project ideas and a how to on creating your own mosaics. Finally, inspiration!

Your challenge this month is to create a page inspired by mosaic. A mosaic is a pattern made of small bits of glass, tile, paper, etc. Here are a few ideas from Pinterest to get the juices flowing.

Gentle Reminder: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the June Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread.

I know, I am low on photos as well. All the things I would have taken photos of have been cancelled. Guess I need to focus on the little everyday things. Glad you have an idea for the challenge though, I look forward to seeing your page!
