My type has been acting funny lately. When I type, the cursor goes back to the beginning of the type with every letter and when I type punctuation at the end it goes at the beginning. I can't seem to select text to copy. It almost looks like the pen tool. I figure I've changed something but I don't know what. ex. !Today is the day Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I haven't seen that before, but I did a little googling and it looks like it might be something with your paragraph settings, especially the "Latin and East Asian Layout" . Here is how mine are set. You get to that list by clicking the little stacked lines on the corner of the Paragraph window. Hope that helps!

Sometimes mine gets messes up from a template I've used. I'm glad you got it fixed! I've had that exact issue and it drives you batty.
