    **UPDATE 5/23
I ordered a big ol' computer today, spent a lot of time learning the numbers and all.
I then sat down to clean up the old one, get all my things in order and on the EHD (4TB)-and I opened the specs on my puter! They are the same as the one I just ordered (except a solid state hard drive).
hubby and I sat down and went thru programs I hadn't used in 5 years (games kids had) and found a HP thing that was eating all my memory.
    Then
I am so embarrassed.....I hadn't done any updates on my CS5-PS (I am not yet on cloud)...it took almost 45 minutes.

my computer is running so fast now..

too late to cancel, but..................I am going to have a label and tape it on when the UPs man comes on Friday!

savings $1200! So hubby says, buy 2 new monitors and order the canvas prints I have been wanting of my kids and grands!

    woot!

First off, my computer was my husbands, and handed down to me (10 years ago)when he got a new one. He does studio music mixing, videos and more. I do bills, and memory keeping via scrapbooking. During this stay at home, my husband watched me scrap a page.
    This is real:
Click PS(I have PS5 from 10 years ago) to open.
go put load of laundry in and take out meat from freezer for dinner, water some plants
return to desk open new canvas 10x10
    do dishes or sweep kitchen
open photos I want to scrap, pull them over
    paint one hand fingernails
OPen Lily pad file-need to use (as a POLLY, I am constantly blessed to make pages for sales)
    pull couple elements over
    dust living room-water more plants
    arrange and pull papers over
this is continuous to make one page, because the computer is sloooow!

He said, what are you doing?

    scrapping...it takes longer now..

so we are computer shopping! bhahhahah

    So dear sistas in geek!

and ADObe Cloud in my future

What a fun thing - computer shopping! Enjoy your new found time. You might not get so many chores done once you are up to speed with the new PSCC and the new computer!

Oh Anne, your description sounds like the olden days when home computers first came out... come home from school, turn on computer, take off coat, turn on browser, change clothes, check to see if dial up has connected, grab crossword, put search in browser, turn on tea kettle.......

    enjoy your new computer. ❤️❤️

Whoop whoop!!! I'm currently switching over to my new computer and love the speed!!! I'm swamped in PSCC tutorials and organizing, but I'm not complaining. I did get a gaming computer with 1T SSD, intel coreI7 9th Gen, RTX graphic card, 16G ram. Even on sale, it was painful adding it to the cart, but I hope it will last me a while!

I don't know Anne, but with that you have more power.. I have a big screen laptop (HP Envy) that has a good grahics card for gaming and I do not have issues with scrapbooking... I keep all my digi supplies and photos on an EHD ... I open my TLP items each week and keep them in my download until I use them and then I moved them over to my EHD so I don't keep much at all on my laptop. Good luck and have fun shopping.

For sure you checked out your basket by now. My new computer is a gaming one too, but nothing you buy now will take 10 minutes to load , so have fun, enjoy and dont get a speeding ticket , because you are going to be" driving" fast...….:cheer
