if you like the sister template to the participation prize head over to Liz's blog on Tuesday to get yours!
Do I recall correctly that you can add other items not in the list, as long as what is in the list totals 36 exactly? So, for example, since you don't list sequins, we can add as many sequins as we like?
I used two templates from the Rituals collabs Morning and Afternoon 5 photos 4 photo frames (each frame must be touching one or more photos) 1 spot of letter(s) and/or number(s) [journaling, one character counts as journaling] 9 distinct patterned papers (can be frames, mats, backgrounds, etc.) 2 identical stitched frames/borders (must have two or more) 3 paper strips/tag(s) (must have writing on them) 2 paint splatters 5 buttons 6 stars
@tpbuffy I'm a little confused by these two instructions: _____ spot(s) of letter(s) and/or number(s) [journaling, one character counts as journaling] _____ paper strip(s)/tag(s) (must have writing on them) If the "spots" are on paper strip(s)/tag(s) do they count for both? Also, is a block of journaling a "spot"? I've been trying to figure this out from your sample layouts and it seems to me they are; however, my layout is such that I would count that separately. Is that OK?
____5_ photo(s) ____5_ photo frame(s) (each frame must be touching one or more photos) ____2_ spot(s) of letter(s) and/or number(s) [journaling, one character counts as journaling] ____1_ distinct patterned paper(s) (can be frames, mats, backgrounds, etc.) ____2_ identical stitched frames/borders (must have two or more) ____2_ paper strip(s)/tag(s) (must have writing on them) ____4_ paint splatter(s) ____6_ button(s) ____9 star(s)
So a block of journaling would be a spot (1) of letters/numbers; you could have 6 spots of lettering but only 4 paper strips/tags. In the sample layout, the spots are: 1. "We didn't realize we were making memories..." 2. Siblings make the best... 3. June 2015 4. & 5. Love 6. BFFs As paper strips/tags, 1, 2, 3, and 5 count. 6 is an alpha and 4 is a kit element. Hope this helps!
