Teaching from home is as challenging as it is for the students and parents trying to implement that teaching! Here is my "teacher's desk" until the end of this school year:
For me, not much has changed the past two months. I have specific things I am waiting to see change; our family reuniting and seeing the littles again, and our move. So while I am waiting I thought a new pair of jammies were in order, lol. Trying to find some brevity amidst all this.
While in the whole big picture, changing our plans is not the worst thing. But in the moment, it definitely left us feeling prickly - even when we knew it was the right thing to do.
my page also about missing walking on the Bat Galim promenade in Haifa and a song about what does it mean to me (the beach)
My children have grown up and it's no fun, no more Easter baskets. No more egg hunts. No more posing our Star Trek figurines with candy and plastic eggs filled with goodies. This year, I gave all the eggs to my cat, George Washington. I filled them with cat treats, because why not? Besides, he's a cute spoiled brat. I clearly need grandchildren. This is the change in life that came too soon. The entire kit is from Forever Joy's Hoppy Days.
