I woke up to a yard covered in snow. It was beautiful and made my redbud trees and lilac bush pop with the colorful flowers. What is it doing in your world?
It is an absolutely beautiful day - blue sky & sunshine - in contrast to Sunday eve/yesterday morning when severe storms and tornados hit our state. We just came back from a store run and passed a home where a huge Oak tree had crushed the end of a home. We didn't take pictures because the family was outside. Today would be such a perfect day to go to Kalmia Gardens down the street, but since it is part of Segars-McKinnon Heritage Preserve, it is closed.
Beautiful blue sky with not a cloud in sight, around 71 out. Very nice. We have lots of green grass; been mowed about 5 times now. Dogwoods are done and it is now iris blooming time. Also had our first tornado warning yesterday morning at 6:30am.
It's very hot - unseasonably so - here. It's actual in the 90's and feels like 104. Plus the humidity is like August. SO not ready!
the trees at the bottom of our culdesac are pink with blossom. As for the weather, today has been sunny but rather cold.
UGH. It was in the 40's here today and currently spitting a little snow. I would enjoy this time at home a lot more if I could get outside and at least sit on my porch. I neeeeeeed some sun and warmth!
Today was sunny, but a bit nippy. We're expecting a bit of snow tomorrow. I don't mind snow, so I don't mind.
It was sunny but windy. We had several days of rain and low 50s weather which was wonderful. Today was 81! I don't like the big sudden shifts in temperature! It will be 100 before we know it, so I enjoy the cooler temps when we get them!
Yesterday it was sunny and snowing. that combination never happens here in Michigan, so it was cool and weird. Today we woke up to snow on the ground and it's still snowing. Last week it was 70. Spring is weird.
Cool and overcast, really yucky weather. I miss the sun and am hopeful that it will visit again tomorrow. It's too early for winter to be starting.
Sunny but cool here. It's supposed to rain the weekend... Fri, Sat and Sun... when I'm not working! Of course, so I'll read some more.
We woke up to about an inch of snow - but only in the grass/beds - which has now melted. I'm looking forward to the mid 60s this weekend though. We had an 80 degree day last Tues... I agree with @Karen spring is weird
Windy here for the last couple of days. Temps in the 40's. Last week we were teasing the 70 mark. Freezing temps predicted for over night and "snow to rain" is the forecast for tomorrow. Weird winter and spring. No bone chilling cold weather in January and February weather in April.
