Hello and welcome to another month of challenges! This month I'm happy to host the photography challenge and found that it helped motivate me to get creative and capture how my life is currently different from my norm (to say the least!). For this month's photography challenge, capture an image that represents something in your life that has changed. Here's my page, showing my photo of my high school senior "attending" a live virtual college orientation day from the comfort of our couch since all college visits are now cancelled: I'm looking forward to seeing what you capture and hope that you are safe and well. Reminder: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and linked to the April Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and posted to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
Working from home is a HUGE change for me . . . of course I can't do the majority of my job anyway, but I'm looking for the way around every single day . . . all from home now. It did motivate me to get our home office done though.
I wanted to do a page that has nothing to do with Current Events. Not a fan of photos of myself, and can count the number of selfies I've taken on one hand. But this is a huge change for me. I also LOVE Rebecca's art, and wanted to over-indulge with it. Thank you for the challenge. This would never have surfaced without it! Like SharLamb, I wanted to get away from more pages about the corona virus. Instead I chose to recognize the change that comes as our children age. I have to laugh at this as this is the daughter who, as a teen, couldn't wait to be an adult. Now she is dreading joining the ranks of "senior" citizens.
I have to laugh because if I don't I will cry LOL! I CHOSE to work full time and not become a teacher or homeschooling mom because I am soooooo not cut out for it~ thank the good man upstairs for today's technology because my kids may NOT have made it out alive the last 3 weeks (with many more to go LOL!)
Not a lot looks different for me personally, except I can't go out to community or church events. Church is now online, so I took photos of yesterday's service.
