Happy Mother's day to my fellow UK mums. I got flowers and fabric from my youngsters. We visited my mum & dad earlier. We stood on the front lawn and talked through the window due to them being in isolation. It was so surreal.

Happy Mother's Day! Beautiful flowers and fabric! My son (who is deployed overseas) sent me a Happy Mother's Day wish yesterday and I was pretty confused at first lol. I was like "wait, did I miss a whole couple of months?". So sorry that you had to visit your mum through the window, but glad you were able to see her at least.
@Angela Toucan -- So guess what, my son and wife somewhere saw that it was Mother's Day, not realizing it was in the UK, so they showed up yesterday with a Mother's Day gift for me. How sweet! My DIL also did shopping for me today because she was going out anyway. We are making special food for my son as today is his birthday.
