If you have any questions, please type them in the thread and use @tpbuffy to get my attention, I will check in periodically. Have fun!!
@tpbuffy On the patterned papers, do they have to be x different patterned papers or is it x instances of patterned papers where the particular patterned paper can repeat?
you can use solid paper as much as you want including as a background, just get your patterns in mats
Here's mine: 4 photo(s) 9 patterned paper(s) (used as mats, scraps, backgrounds) (8 blocks of patterned paper plus the background) 4 line(s) of stitches 6 line(s) of journaling in a single journal block 3 flower(s) 2 word(s) in your main title 1 subtitle(s) journaled directly onto photos 2 piece(s) of tape 1 bow(s) 3 flair(s) 1 file tab(s)
Thanks! That was fun! 3 photos 4 patterned papers 2 Journal cards 6 lines of journaling in a single journal block 3 flowers 2 Leaves 1 word(s) in your main title 4 fasteners (piece of tape, ladybug brad, heart brad, flair) 1 file tab 1 scribble 9 scattered sequins
Hi @tpbuffy - just checking - we need to use the same 11 categories that you did correct? (For instance, I could not substitute a staple/staples for a bow/bows or change flowers to hearts). Thanks - this is a fun challenge.
@tpbuffy I had that same clarification of categories, but was confused by "You can make your layout yours; add items and design as you like, as long as, you follow the instruction(s) below." Also, exactly 36 items, not more as stated at the end of the categories, hence the confusion on "add items."
Here is my take on the challenge.....I used Artsy Journal Template #49 and Soco's Life In Harmony - Friendship 6 photo(s) 4 patterned paper(s) (used as mats, scraps, backgrounds) 4 lines of stitches 9 lines of journaling in a single journal block 3 flowers 3 words in your main title 2 subtitles journaled directly onto photos 1 piece of tape 1 bow 2 flairs 1 file tab I also used the paint that was part of the template and added leaves to 2 of the flowers. This was fun - the challenge is to keep track of the elements and how many of each you need or have used!
I missed too many challenges already but finally today is the day I can play!! 9 _____ photo(s) 3_____ patterned paper(s) (used as mats, scraps, backgrounds) 2_____ line(s) of stitches 6_____ line(s) of journaling in a single journal block 4_____ flower(s) 3_____ word(s) in your main title 4_____ subtitle(s) journaled directly onto photos 1_____ piece(s) of tape 2_____ bow(s) 1_____ flair(s) 1_____ file tab(s)
4_____ photo(s) 6_____ patterned paper(s) (used as mats, scraps, backgrounds) 2_____ line(s) of stitches 4_____ line(s) of journaling in a single journal block 9_____ flower(s) 2_____ word(s) in your main title 1_____ subtitle(s) journaled directly onto photos 3_____ piece(s) of tape 1_____ bow(s) 3_____ flair(s) 1_____ file tab(s)
thank you Tracy. Here's my page. 9 patterns turned out to be a bit more tricky than I had envisioned. My list: _6___ photo(s) __9___ patterned paper(s) (used as mats, scraps, backgrounds) __3___ line(s) of stitches _4___ line(s) of journaling in a single journal block _2___ flower(s) ____3_ word(s) in your main title ___1__ subtitle(s) journaled directly onto photos __1___ piece(s) of tape __2___ bow(s) __4___ flair(s) __1___ file tab(s)
correct, no substitution but you can add your own staples, buttons, etc outside of the specific instructions
you can add other items not in the list in any quantity you want; for those items in the list that you pair to a number you must have those exactly, so if you put 9 with bows, you must have exactly 9 bows
