Hey Everyone! It's March, in like a Lion and out like a Lamb! I hope so, cause I'm ready for spring! Recently, I went to a 40th birthday party in Atlantic City, NJ - like a really low key Vegas. We hung out with good friends, gambled a bit, ate fantastic food and laughed like it was going out of style! I realized something when we were there. My friend, Kari, is my rock. She's my ride or die chick! We've known each other since our sorority days in college and she's been through thick and thin with me for the last 20 something years! Always supports me, has a shoulder for me to cry (or vent) on and really gets me. So, for the March Journaling challenge: Scrap about YOUR rock - tell me about that person. Include at least 4 sentences about that supportive person in your life, who is always there, cheering you on and is someone who really gets you! PS, no picture needed, but I'd love to have a face to go along with your journaling. Here is my page: Remember the general challenge rules: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery, to your March Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread. The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges).
I still think that you are getting younger instead of ageing, Jen...you are looking so fresh, gorgeous, I think more beautiful than 10 years ago even!!!! awesome page, awesome challenge !!!
2019 brought death and illnesses to those dear to me and me. I could make 5 or more pages for this particular challenge, as help came from different places, not all of them expected, but here is one about my main rock, though sometimes that rock is either around my neck or in my shoe... Comes with being a rock, right? LOL
This was hard, only in the sense that there isn't enough room on 10 scrapbook pages to express how I feel and care about the TWO ROCKS in my life. Credits and Journaling: https://the-lilypad.com/forum/galleries/03-20_my-rocks.426764/
