Congratulations Sharon!! My kids call theirs Gram and Nanny. It was supposed to be Nanna, but my oldest started saying Nanny as a toddler and it stuck lol. My kids are the only grandkids on both sides, so what they say goes lol.
Congratulations! We've always used Grandma & Grandpa. If I ever get a grandchild, I'd be open to being called Grandma Judy.
that's so exciting!! congratulations, Sharon!! well, I have a grand niece, but she's too young, only 4 months..so no names for me yet!
Aww congrats thats so wonderful to read. My mum is Grandma but we also liked Mum Mum, in the end Tige just called her Grandma so that stuck!
Congrats to both you & your daughter, we have nana's on both sides, one is Nana K (with her first initial) to differentiate
Congrats, so excited for you! We have Grandma/Grandpa. We also have GiGi and GramGram for Great Grandmas.
My parents are G'ma and Papa, and my husband's parents were called Grandma and Grandpa. I called my closest grandma Mama Sue and her husband Papa Ben (I was the flower girl at their wedding when I was 5- my bio grandfather died before I was born) My hope is to come up with a "cool" grandma name when the time comes. I like Lolly, CiCi, KayKay or GiGi.
