I played around with a very simple stitch brush yesterday and created the mountain scene in this layout:
@zinzilah asked for a tutorial. I did a VERY fast one. I got a text msg as I began- son is driving in these bad storms- so there is a pause while I read and one while I respond. (SORRY!) And NO VOICE-OVER- just wanted to do this quickly.

    • The mountains of course are a bit more detailed than this heart, and I layered color over color, and changed stroke directions ( the way I moved the mouse- well, I have a touch screen, but it can be done with a mouse or touchpad) often.
    • I did a background underlayer to give depth.
    • The color principle is like painting acrylics in that you can work dark to light colors. OR just play and do it YOUR way.
    • I did forget to add a new layer at first and went back to add it and then continued.
    • HERE is the free brush set [IMG]
    - I used only the straight stitch.
    • Thanks to Kate Hadfield for the heart graphic!
    • Hope you enjoy and play around with it!!!

Yep! I just did a very fast tutorial/demo - not a full on video.

Thank you! I wish it had the layers like the mountains, but I did explain how to do that in the text.
