I took a different approach by writing about something, two things really, that will end this year.

yaaay!! I did it, another year finished!!
I didn't want to go really deep and write about a real sad end, I already did it on the day 20....so I went with a light sad ...lol... I wrote about the end of our first trip together, it was an amazing time and I'll use this four our album! thank you Laura for another amazing MOC!!

Well, I wrote about my sad endings in other layouts, so I went happy on this one. My mom is 81 years strong now. This is a layout of the end of her 70s! Thanks so much for hosting and for everyone who shared their stories this month! I know we don't really know each other, but our stories really do lift, sustain and resonate with each other so much!

Thank you for all the hard work in putting this together. I learned some new techniques and got so many layouts done. I loved waking up each morning excited to see what the newest challenge would be. This is my second MOC and I look forward to next year.

Day 31 (Yes, I made it to ) THE END

The last time we were in Thailand was in 2008.
We visited Bangkok and the southern islands.
We spent a week in Ko Samui and saw some beautiful beaches.
Then we went to Krabi and took a boat to see Railey Beach and some other islands like Ko Phi Phi.
We also made an excursion to the Andaman Sea and the famous James Bond Island.

These pages are so hard to read. So much loss and pain. I'm glad I keep tissues on my desk. I'm so very thankful for this supportive community, who understand the need to write it down; even if it really hurts. Thank you for being our guiding light, Laura. I love you all. Here's mine...

My son-in-law died on December 20, 2019. He was 25 years old. My daughter took this pic of him and my grandson just the month before. I’m making a picture book for my grandson of layouts I do of him and his dad. This page will eventually go into the book.

Thanks for the great final challenge! My oldest is a sophomore in high school. I'm at a point where I'm very cognizant that a lot of those lasts are coming and will hit me hard, but thankfully I get to put them off a little longer! Here's an ending that was a little less life changing but still a sign of my youngest growing up.

I love when you get a bit philosophical on us to end MOC :) I had so many ideas come and go through my mind for this challenge. I went with this one because it touches on a more serious one that I considered (my brother's head injury). Thank you for this wonderful Month of Challenges, this wonderful digiscrapping home, and this wonderful challenge to bring MOC8 to a close. Thanks for all you do.
