I loved this challenge! Thank you for the awesome info on how to do it - I've used the technique multiple times since then and it has helped tremendously! I chopped up my entire background paper and repositioned it over a little bit of paint, then tucked my photo into the paper pieces.
I used the third layout as my inspiration and cut up the background map and repositioned it all. Hopefully this is right.
This was fun! I do have 3 cut outs that are "turned" but underneath my paper. I hope that's okay...I just liked the depth that gave to my page.
Thanks for the challenge! I had a big plan for this, but it just didn't pan out, so I started over and I love this simple version. Edit: The cut out shapes are the exact same paper as the background, but I have noticed an optical illusion when it is smaller on the screen!
This is something I've done in paper a few times but never digitally. Thanks for the great idea, Jenn. Loved it!
Thank you for a great technique. I will definitely be using it in the future. Kit: Bless Your Heart Collection by Bella Gypsy https://the-lilypad.com/store/Bless-Your-Heart-Collection.html cut-out: sweet tea pitcher =) journaling: The only way I can cut sweet tea out of my life is to cut it out of a background in a scrapbook page. LOL Southern girls love our sweet tea. Reread the instructions and did a more contrasting background.
