This is a technique I will use more often. It's so cool! My green leaf is my "dipped" item but I painted on the brown twig, the pinecone and the edges of the frames.
Thank you for hosting this challenge, Rae, and for teaching me a new technique. I will definitely use this again. (I used it on the paintbrush in my layout.) Mine

This time I'll try another approach: Instead of using a little colder water from time to time, I'll now set it all the way to ice cold right from the beginning but will only start showering arms and legs first before moving closer to the center of the body. And it works! This week I already managed to shower cold complete for a tiny moment - excluding the head. But including a lot of deep breath.
thanks for this challenge! I use the technic of paint dipping on the green button/2 flairs/ word strip "go see"/river tag and on the moose (with all "the painted bucket")
This page documents my son's love for chicken ramen noodles (even his school lunchbox is a giant ramen noodle cup). I know the page is on the....shall we say "bright side," but he loved it. My paint dip is the title. It's done in multiple colors. Thanks for the challenge, Rae. I was really happy to document this stage of Harrison's life.
This was so much fun! I will definitely be doing this technique again! MOC-2020-23-PaintDippingWEB by tlcd1961 posted Feb 1, 2020 at 12:18 PM
I paint dipped and I paint squished (the gesso lol). Hope that's okay because I liked the look of both on my page. I dipped the stem of the black/white paper flower, upside-down U shapes, kraft paper button flower, green paper leaf, the "today" tag, and the woman illustration (though that is a gesso with texture..not sure it counts?) The background paper already had paint on it.
